Great for digital artists

You always see negative reviews from people who don't seem to understand what they are buying. This is a matte screen protector, which means you'll set a little surface texture at the expense of a crystal-clear image. It's a compromise I'm willing to make to get a small surface texture to use with my iPencil. That being said, I found the impact on video viewing to be minimal enough that you get used to it quickly. A little tip: apply the screen protector in a hot steam room as the humidity in the air will reduce the amount of flying dust. vicinity. I managed to put mine on with no visible dust stuck between them. Also, use some tape along the starting edge to hold the iPad in place while you separate the layers. If someone misplaced the vinyl you might be tempted to compress it as you move forward, but I found that it tends to trap air at the beginning, so I just laid it down with no pressure until the end. I was able to squeeze out these few air pockets without any problems. I haven't tried any of the "paper" screen protectors as they are a bit high in terms of cost. Thought I'd try one of the cheaper options and am completely satisfied with this product. I highly recommend it, but if you find you don't like it, you won't be wasting so much money.
