Review on Sprite HHC 2 Replacement Shower Cartridge by Tony Addis

I have used my Sprite shower head and filter for over 20 years. I ordered a new Sprit shower head a few weeks ago and I can't stand it. The water flow is like a limp banana. I removed the water limiter, no difference. I replaced the hose with a shorter hose, no difference. Pulled the filter out of the pen today and BOOM! All the difference in the world. It's been a few years since I replaced the filter on the broken showerhead I just replaced but the old filters NEVER restricted water flow like this one did or I wouldn't have used them in over 20 years. What changes? I have long hair and it takes forever to rinse it out with this filter in my shower head. This defeats the very purpose of using limited flow showerheads to conserve water. Because of these filters, I have to stay in the shower for an additional 5 minutes to rinse out the shampoo and conditioner.
