These are great mics for the price. You can afford to have a few and throw them away if you run into trouble. I didn't throw anything away. The only problem we had with it was that sometimes the small screw came loose. If you don't notice it, it may fall off and get lost. A very simple and quick solution - a small zipper will solve the problem forever. They might not be as good as a $500 mic, but not much lower, and most of us can't afford a dozen $500 mics in church. I think you'll be surprised at how good they are for the money. I like the idea of a double ear world. This makes it stable. One-ear mics tend to flap around if you move around a lot while speaking or if you sweat a lot. They are very stable. The wires can be easily bent. Don't judge them right away until you bend and fit them to your head and then use them a few times. As with many other things, there is a slight learning curve with something new. After working with a head mic for several weeks, you will never go back to any other type of mic.
