I love this product in many ways, but it has its issues. It's really a combo package of an ATH2000 case and a TLC2000 camera. Good/Pro of the TLC2000 camera: - good camera quality - excellent HD image quality - excellent low power consumption in standby/timer mode. Bads/cons of the TLC2000 camera: - my timer setting was supposed to record the time of day on weekdays but I found a morning video at the end of the previous day - it's all there but not in the right video file - crazy - wish it was 4k - wish it was, i would like it to auto boot over ethernet - when the power is off the camera forgets all its settings. Pros/Pros of the ATH2000 Case: - Very customizable interior - Quite flexible - Possibility for power cords through the bottom of the case - Space for moisture wicking pockets Bads/Cons of the ATH2000 Case: - The case lens window needs to be layered or something as it now has water residue inside - images from camera can still be used but are somewhat degraded - cannot be cleaned - window is sealed and not easy to change - battery compartment for 16 batteries - junk (although the electronics are dodgy) - started up fairly quickly to decay. Replacing batteries is an inconvenient, time-consuming task. However, I've found Revain's "always on" USB charging box (Voltaic Systems V50) that fits into the case with the cable at a right angle and doesn't turn off if the camera is idle between timer events; it made life much easier and more enjoyable. I can charge the battery while it's still connected to the camera so the camera doesn't forget its settings. I will soon be switching to a high resolution POE camera with automatic upload to my file server but this camera was quick and easy to get up and running, takes good pictures and the 3rd party battery gives me about 2 weeks out of 5 days of video.
