I really like this table and the price here at Revain is very good (I've seen it somewhere closer to $200). It was packaged well and was fairly easy to put together, although as others have pointed out the instructions are poor and you may have to give up midway through the process. To avoid this, attach the LOWER shelf before attaching the top shelf. That being said, it's very easy to see what needs to be done. When I opened the box I definitely noticed the "chemical" smell that others were talking about. but it quickly went away and now, the next day, I can't smell anything. I am very happy with this purchase. No, due to the rustic style, the slab is not entirely flat, but in my opinion this in no way detracts from the function and even improves the look. As someone else pointed out, there's a small adjustable foot on each leg - handy if your floor isn't perfectly level in a few places (or if the table needs adjustment - mine didn't though). l If this table is what you want, I recommend it.
