Review on Thule Capstone Hiking Backpack Atlantic Backpacks for Hiking Daypacks by Nuzhat Shaver

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best backpack I have ever owned

This is probably the most elaborate backpack I have ever seen. Excellent carrying capacity. I easily transferred the best I had in a 65 liter bag to this one. And there was room for clothes and food. Room management at its finest. The water bottle pockets are positioned so you can reach them like an acrobat. The rear outer pocket is huge and easy to access. Snap hooks are very useful. The pocket on the top cover holds a lot. Personally, I'm glad you can't remove it. I've had terminal covers loosen and even fall off if you put too much weight on them. The fact that the package weighs 3 pounds is unbelievable. I've lost some base weight just by switching to this package. The straps are very easy to adjust, the straps will tighten and stay there. The mesh really helps ventilate the back, a big improvement over my last pack. And Versaclick is really very nice. The included rod holder mount works great, I also bought a camera mount and it works great too. I've tried Osprey and other brands, Thule is avant-garde with great attention to detail. They contain all the little silly things that you wouldn't think mattered until you got deep into the woods and realized how awesome it would be to have those features. However, it is cheaper than other brands
