I bought this for my boyfriend and was a bit skeptical because of the reviews that it runs small. He usually wears size XL and doesn't have much space, but due to his size he definitely needs size XL. He has an average athletic build, but we took a chance with the XL. It hugs the torso perfectly but is only slightly tight around his shoulders and arms. If you are close to XL or have really pumped up arms I would order a size up. Very good quality for the price!
