great drone for the price

Pros This is a great mid to entry level drone (only my second). It is very easy to fly and works in light to medium winds. I wouldn't fly it in winds above 10 m/s. It holds its position in the wind quite well, but the video is very choppy and the flight time is shorter than usual as it struggles with the wind. was before. He takes great photos. The video is ok as long as you don't fly too fast. fast flight gives the video a jelly effect. It folds up well and the bag that comes with it is very nice. The controller feels pretty good, and it doesn't feel cheap and flimsy like others I've had my hands on. Cons Only one battery is included, and maybe because it's a new product, but I had trouble finding an extra battery to buy. Also, the charger has compartments for 2 batteries, but if you don't have an optional USB-A to USB-C cable, it will only charge 1 battery at a time, even if 2 batteries are inserted. There are 2 USB-C ports on the side and both need to be powered to charge 2 batteries at the same time. There is a GPS on/off switch on the side of the controller. I've found that this switch can be turned off by taking the controller in and out of the case. You can fly the drone with the GPS turned off, but unless you are an experienced pilot, it is difficult. The benefit is that with the GPS disabled, the drone more or less maintains altitude, but you have 100% control over where it flies. I accidentally turned off the GPS and before I knew it the thing was taking off on its own and being freed by the gentle breeze. Luckily, the home button works when the GPS is turned off. Landing with GPS disabled is also tricky, I just ended up getting it pretty close to me and instead of risking a crash I just yanked it out of the air (from below) with one hand while holding the kill button up dem pressed remote control with the other hand. The way the phone is held blocks the 2 top shoulder buttons, which isn't a big deal. However, be aware that you may have trouble pressing these buttons if you have larger hands than a child. I had connection issues between the drone and the Potensic app for the first few flights. I ended up uninstalling and re-downloading the app, which seems to have fixed the issue. Overall, the pros and cons outweigh the cons and so far I'm satisfied.
