Review on πŸ’† Nioxin Intensive Therapy Booster Ounce: Amplify Your Hair's Potential by Amy Johnson

Dear Nioxin and my HAIR!

I haven't used this product for a while and I'm not 100% sure what it's supposed to do (I'll update my review in a few months), but in combination with Nioxin Shampoo/Conditioner and Nioxin Diamax (I will start using the skin therapy head), my hair feels great. It really makes my hair look a lot thicker, especially at the roots. A few years ago I noticed that my hair, which was always "thin", was thinning on top of my head. I watered so much and I was panicking. I've always felt my hair and hoped you hadn't seen my scalp. Stress and not taking birth control pills were the causes of my hair loss. I had tests done to rule out other issues and received a clean bill of health. I started using Nioxin electrodes and after about a month I noticed my hair was thicker where it used to look very thin. It worked so well I didn't have to worry about my hair anymore! I bought the biggest bottles of Nioxin I could get my hands on so it took a long time I had to replace the Diamax with just a couple of X's. As soon as I ran out of stuff, I switched to another hair care product and went about my business. Lately the stress has taken over again and I've started to notice my hair thinning again and I realized that I wasn't using Nioxin. I won't make that mistake again. I added this booster to my regimen thinking there could be no harm. I know I'm not talking specifically about the Critical Care Booster as it seems to me that Nioxins work in unison. I can't say enough good things about Nioxin and how it's affecting my hair and self esteem. As a woman in her 30s, thinning hair is NOT NORMAL! I can wholeheartedly sympathize with anyone dealing with this issue. My father is a dermatologist and deals a lot with patients with thinning hair and apart from a few medications there is not much that can be done yet. I hope there will be better treatments for us soon. For now, I'm stocking that up!
