At this price there is nothing better!

These light heads are unsurpassed in this price range, period. I was looking for an inexpensive but SAE certified linear lighthead for my POV grille and was typically getting $50+ each. In my search I came across the Abrams, I landed on two of them (red/blue) and one of the Abrams siren speakers. After receiving them, I only had one question: Why are Whelen, Code 3, and other big brands so damn expensive? Without exception, I will order these lamp heads and recommend them as far as I can. Using 3 3W LEDs, they have an impressive amount of light that is definitely visible and effective during the day, with plenty of off-axis due to the optical design. For reference - the front of my POV only has two of these bulbs (red/blue) and an inner dual dashboard. To date, on the road, I have had almost no problem with compliments from other respondents that "your truck looks good" and was not over the top, but still efficient. Keep price in mind when considering options for these lightheads. Of course it would be nice to have a night mode and additional flashing patterns, but these LEDs pack an amazing amount with significant warning power and appropriate flashing patterns for each application. In my case, I would highly recommend them to anyone – whether you're outfitting a higher-budget agency car or a volunteer who doesn't want to rob the bank; These lights are efficient, durable and a must have for lifeguards.
