First off, let me point out that I've been through a lot of hydration packs. Some lacked features that others had, and none of them had everything I was looking for. Until I found this one! PROS: The chest strap is higher than most and very adjustable, while the others are lower on the chest, making it unsuitable for women with large breasts. The hydration bladder and backpack straps (shown) have two pilot holes to allow you to swap sides of the tube. There are two guides on the straps of the backpack (see figure). One sits high on your shoulders and the other sits under your stomach to allow you to hold the hose at your preferred height. I like mine high and close to the face and my son prefers it lower. The valve on bladder tubing (shown) is deeply grooved to ensure a secure connection and prevent leakage. It was a big problem and a problem with other brands. - The oral valve (pictured) not only has a cap, it has compression to prevent leaks AND an additional push-to-close and open valve for added security. It is important! I can't tell you how many times I've lost water due to leaking oral valves. - Comfort. The padded shoulder straps and back are excellent and provide comfortable support when the bladder is full. - Adjustable shoulder straps. Everything about this device is adjustable. Chest, hip belt, shoulder straps. It's comfortable for me at 170 pounds and also fits a much larger waist with a waist belt. It's also perfectly tailored for my 12 year old. Cons: I'll let you know when I find them! This device has everything I need and fixed all my issues with other brands I've used in the past. I am very happy to have found a double pack for me and my son that fits perfectly considering the huge size difference between the two of us.
