Great sound quality, easy to use and great price.

this converter is awesome! Powered by two AA batteries, it is a standalone device. You can use the "manual recording" function to record specific songs. With the "Auto Record" function, it records the entire tape and separates each song into a separate MP3 file. While I'm working, he just sits on my desk and downloads music; it's so easy to use. With "Auto-Recording" the program starts a new file when there is a break in the song. You can merge the two files back into one song using the free program Audacity, or you can use the "manual recording" function to selectively record this song. Every day I listen to music from different media. I still have a few cassettes that I really liked; I haven't had a chance to play them in my cars for years. You couldn't buy them anywhere or there wasn't a modern format, but I just couldn't bring myself to throw them away. MP3 files can be burned to a CD, played on a computer, or added to iTunes. My old cassettes have been added back to my active library. What surprised me the most was the sound quality! The converter does not enhance the sound but creates an MP3 file with a sound quality equivalent to that of a cassette.
