Review on πŸ‹οΈ Anthem Athletics Hyperflex 7" Men's Cross-Training Workout Gym Shorts - Optimize Your Performance! by Aaron Vang

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall not bad but the design could be improved.

I am 5ft 10", 220lbs, waist 36-38". I ordered size XL and they fit great. Overall I like the material, stretch and fit of the shorts. I love wearing these shorts. in and out of the gym. My girlfriend thinks they make my ass look amazing and my thighs look like thunder. BUT I have 3 criticisms of the design which can be summarized as Lift, Fish and Shuffle. 1. The thread does not go all the way through. around the waist. The lace goes from hip to hip. If you go running with full bags, play the lifting game. The drawstring is too short to compensate for the stretch of the shorts. So if you need to be a little tighter, you're out of luck. 2. I like the position of the pockets and they are too deep. They run the entire length of the thigh. A pocket is perfect for the iPhone X, so depth is not an issue there. But if you keep your keys or ID in another bag, you'll have to go fishing to get them. be a long bag and a short bag will do. Asymmetry is cool, right? 3. My third gripe is that the pocket holes are not wide enough to put your hand through when you need to rummage in your pocket for keys or ID. Now, when you stand at the reception or in front of your car and open the door, you're fumbling in your bags, and that can be uncomfortable. My hands on a computer keyboard are pretty average, not the rough hands of some gym goers. I can't imagine what powerful people have to do. I would recommend expanding the pocket maybe 1-2 centimeters.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Very expensive
