I've been an electrical engineer for almost 4 decades and have spent the last 12 years in networks. I've read reviews of people who worked very hard to get their cables underground or otherwise only to find out it didn't work so I checked mine on arrival. My cable was 175 feet Category 7. Usually my laptop is wireless and I wanted to compare apples to apples. I took an old Category 5 cable and connected my laptop to the router. I tested with speedtest.net, a trustworthy standard. Measured 235 Mbps down, 36 up as expected. The best I got from the new cable was 35Mbps, tested on two laptops and two different router ports. In the worst case, the speedtest.net homepage would be rendered for over 5 minutes and then expire. The incoming traffic rate varied from 0.01 Mbit/s to about 20 Mbit/s. I've read a lot of positive reviews and wonder how many of these customers have compared their cable to an old cable. Imagine spending many hours running cables through walls and a hot attic, only to find that the cable is well under spec at best and fails at worst. Do not buy this product.
