Review on Madison Park Bellagio Comforter Brown by Renee Johnson

This set looks and feels less premium than the price would suggest. The fabric has a "slick" sheen that is unappealing. This makes the duvet feel almost waterproof and feels uncomfortable against the skin. Pillowcases are very light, more like pillowcases. I think they could have used a stiffer lining. (We have a similar set of quilted bedspreads from Madison Park and are considering swapping those pads out for use in this set. Familiarity with the brand also tells me this set isn't up to their usual standards. What a disappointment!) sufficient, but a little long for my king size bed frame. Odd because, as other reviews have noted, the king-size comforter is almost too narrow - perhaps more appropriate for a California king. I definitely ordered a king size. The cushions are decorative only, made of thin fabric with small embellishments, I will replace them with cushions from the previous set. Actually, we plan to use the previous folded cover as a protective cover for the lower half of the bed so that small dogs can sit on the bed with us. I regret to say that I spent all the money on this purchase. I'm surprised because I trusted this brand.
