Bought for my twins' night time potty training. It was exactly what I wanted. I can take out the wet sheets, wipe them off, change the sheets and put the baby back to bed in 5 minutes. Ordinary mattress covers should be washed when they get wet. I didn't label this product for softness because it's a compromise - it's not as soft as new cases, but it doesn't have to be. It should be easy and quick to erase, and it is. I put it on another mattress topper. So it's not noisy. Some of the reviews mentioned the quality. Yes, it's thin and the elastic doesn't go all the way through, but it fits perfectly and does the job. My kids don't jump on beds very often because we bought foam mattresses which aren't fun to jump on - problem solved. So if it tears or breaks along the way, it doesn't matter. The price is great - I can buy a few more until we don't need them anymore.
