I bought these size 8 shoes for my 2.5 year old. Despite being her normal size, she has noticed on a couple of occasions that they are a bit tight on her. They are not TOO small yet - in the end there is still room for them; but there is not much room to grow. Size aside these are really good shoes! They hold up well and the grip is good (not very rubbery but not slippery even when wet). Another minor complaint (not a big issue) is that the spiked side of the Velcro strap attaches to the shoe instead of the shoe. straps, which means that if you don't fully tighten it, the scratchy part will be visible and could catch on something. Nevertheless - reliable tennis shoes for the little ones!
