Even in almost boiling water, the material does not become soft enough. They are also almost independent of each other. I have purchased several different brands of "denture beads" and they worked as advertised and as instructed. But after 3 attempts and almost boiling water, they were barely soft and didn't want to stick to each other, which is necessary for the product to work.
