Review on 🎧 Black Replacement Earpads for Audio-Technica M-Series Headphones - HP-EP by Dustin Schultz

They are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the ear pads that came with my ATH-M50x. They are much stronger than the ones on my ATH-M50x. nowadays they sounded with heavily worn earpads! One earpad was slightly larger than the other. One ear pad is nice and smooth, as are the pads on my ATH-M50x. but the other has creases even before they were attached. Smooth skin feels softer than wrinkled skin. a screen repair kit at work so they fit properly in the groove without deforming the pad itself. In general. They're not terrible, but they're not amazing either. I would say they are average in terms of acceptance. You will likely break down with use over time, as you would expect. but the first impression of them was not too good. If you don't have iFixIt toolkit or iPhone screen repair kit. go and get one. You will need paddle/pry tools to allow the ear pads to reach the groove needed to hold them. So if you have an ATH-M50x, expect it to be smaller/less sturdy than you would expect compared to standard earpads. And make sure you have some kind of plastic tool to pull the earcups into the retaining groove.
