Definitely recommend for the most part
Got this for our 8 year old boy for Christmas. Overall I think it was a good deal compared to the actual Lego brand advent calendar. The only criticism is that the instructions are a bit difficult to understand. Previously my husband had to help with a few when my son was building them. But in general, he can build them himself. I love that after all the little figures are built, they can be made into 3 big ones!
