Not Square - Factory In Denial

As with most other reviews I've read, the bottom bar doesn't fit. I called the factory to fix this technical error and they acted ignorant of the problem and denied there was a design flaw. Pros: The shelf looks very nice when installed and neatly stores all of my girlfriends' shower essentials. for a few shelves. The shelves are attached to the wall and are easy to assemble except for the floor rail. I would recommend buying multiple sets of a shelf rather than buying a double shelf. The bad side: The washcloth/towel bar at the bottom of the double shelf is a little too long and ends up at the wrong angle, which causes the two supports to be pinched. rods out from the bottom of the assembly. This causes the shelf to lack squareness, making it difficult to attach directly to the wall. Without a pole, the mounting poles and shelves remain straight and easily attach to the wall. I bent the stem to reduce the spread of the ends and re-angled the bolts so they were straight. Smooth bending of the rod was performed using a tube bender and a spring form. The beam just isn't bent at the right angle to fit into the assembly, which keeps the vertical mounting plates straight and at right angles to the wall. When one side is held flush with the wall, the other side rises or expands outward. If the "strong hand" is in place, the panels can be held flush, but this creates a lot of external stress on the tile or substrate. Ugly: I bought them too long before the bathroom project and this defect on the rod wasn't found until after the return time had expired. Given a defect at the factory, they were surprised by this revelation and offered to send me a new bar. Since I had a small window on the build team, I bent the pole to fit one and decided not to put the second corner I bought. I carefully measured shank angles, end faces, and screw protrusion before reporting a design/manufacturing issue to the factory. Even after the bend I made, this corner of my shower behind this shelf started to shift and separate, and after just three months we still need to put more grout between the tiles. It sits atop a newly constructed drywall and porcelain tile wall.
