I've had them since January. These are the first expensive headphones I've bought and I'm very happy with them. A few complaints: 1. The advice that comes with them is terrible. The flanged ear tips go too deep (for me) to be comfortable and the foam ear tips are really scratchy and uncomfortable. I found the Comply Foam and Shure SE215 earbuds fit well and are much more comfortable. I can get a good seal that makes them decently noise canceling and everything sounds clear.2. The cable is TOO SHORT. It's barely enough for listening and VERY little for monitoring. It's about half the length of my SE215s and I think it's about 2.5 feet if I remember correctly. The cable should definitely be longer.3. The usual way of carrying the cable down makes it difficult for me as a drummer to use the headphones as headphones. You can put them on your ears and that works well, but it's a lot harder to position them and get a good seal. The short cable also makes it very difficult. I definitely prefer over-ear headphones for monitoring, but I find it much easier to use the muted style for personal listening. I've never had any issues with sealing or falling out when I normally wear them. In terms of sound quality, I have no comparison to anything other than the Shure SE215. For reference, I usually set the EQ settings to the bass "V". The bass/mid-bass frequencies are usually fairly high, the mid/high-mid are dropped, and the highs are somewhere in between. The sound of the G10 is very balanced and clear in my opinion. I could hear things in the low frequencies that I had never heard before, and with the utmost clarity. Pop, neo-soul, hip-hop and electronic music will sound amazing in these headphones. Clear bass, decent mids and crisp highs. I found the SE215s can be very harsh on my ears. I don't hear the low level bias that people always talk to them about. Low frequencies in them are much more pronounced and pronounced. I don't think they are very good for jazz music. They sound good, but the double bass often gets lost in the mix. I usually need to boost the mids in the EQ settings to hear what's going on and that can make the sound quite bloated at times. Overall I would definitely recommend these headphones but I have a feeling there could be better options. in this price range. Again, I'm by no means an audiophile, but I do listen to music fairly regularly. I am very happy with them when using them for personal listening. Aside from the complaints listed here, I have no other issues with the quality of this headphone. If you can find a good price on them, they're definitely worth it. Just get a few different tips.
