I have long been amazed by the quality of ORIJEN nutrition and am willing to pay a higher price for it. I was concerned about the suggestion that grain-free dog food (or ingredients used in place of grain) could be associated with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and as a result I stopped feeding my ORIJEN pets. Now that ORIJEN is offering granular alternatives, I have put Regional Red back on my dog and he loves it. I will continue to feed him a variety of foods. He also eats Fromm Adult Gold, FirstMate wild Pacific salmon, and home-cooked food.
