Bottle fits although I would have liked a slightly smaller diameter (easier to fit in a purse, drink holder or backpack pocket, better for small hands to hold). The lid is too high (heavy at the top), leaking and made of plastic (needs to be washed very often, otherwise it smells, which defeats the purpose and convenience of a stainless steel bottle). I recommend buying one of the stainless steel lids. They are shorter, making single-wall bottles less heavy. They squeak a little more, but if you're careful you can really minimize the squeak - raise it a bit when screwing in/out and you don't have as much metal-on-metal friction (and therefore less noise). Trust me I have sensitive ears! Also, don't over-tighten them. They really should sell them with stainless steel caps to reduce the amount of plastic in the environment, especially since so many people complain about sport caps and will probably end up throwing them in the landfill!
