Review on 🧗 DMAIP Tactical Adjustable Rock Climbing Rope: Ideal for Outdoor Sports in Khaki by Dustin Keller

After reading all the positive and negative reviews I decided to buy this multipoint harness. I checked the latch and applying about 30 pounds of force to the stock latches didn't move the system. The entire suspension kit is pretty impressive for the price. I am very impressed. The device is not lightweight. Heavy sling and heavy metal components. If you want light weight, just grab a thin buckle strap and you're done. It is save. The belt looks like a 2-3,000 pound test. The closure on the central belt buckle is quite good. The buckle's steel doesn't look like low-grade gauze metal, but rather something much tougher. The fit of the shaft and bearing on the wire harness center component is fairly snug with little wobble. As others have pointed out, the connection between the connector plug (male component) and the industry standard fittings on my rifle has "a little more play". maybe another 2 degrees of swing. I tried everything to loosen the connector but to no avail, the components remained locked. The bearings seem to fit the stock ring well enough to be held in place with considerable force. Probably around 30-50 kg. It is also important to note that the diameter of the male stem is large enough to prevent the connector from backing out due to the angulation. There are no problems with the quality of the goods I bought. The tape is made of dense polyester and feels comfortable. Components appear to be cut correctly and all bearings appear to be installed correctly and move as intended. There is an internal cylinder behind the bearings that holds them in the extended position, so the design is relatively robust. I'm sure with such an affordable sling (made in China) there are QC issues from time to time, but it was definitely worth buying and trying. I definitely recommend just getting one and trying it out. Worst case, if your rifle has a loose fit, you'll have to buy the standard Magpul male ($14). The female components on my rifle are Daniel Defense and MFT. The connector fits and snaps securely into DD and MFT connectors. There is some play in the parts but I can't get them to come loose. You can see the location of the bearings on the crest of the bushing strips and there are always 3 out of 4 bearings fully installed even at maximum leverage, with the 4th bearing visible but also mostly mounted within the bushing sleeve. This is definitely the "Your Mileage May Vary" type of YMMV buy. I'm glad I took the risk. I just don't have $60 for a Magpul sling. And to be honest, the Magpul components are noticeably tight with very little tolerance. You have to work with Magpul components to get them for free. I'd rather play around with the system a little more. Do I expect these connectors to have the same lifespan as standard Magpul connectors? no But I think for a basic home defense configuration they will last a long time. If you're a daily operator, you're not going to buy cheap, cheap crap in the first place. FYI, I've been an outdoor shooter and mechanic my entire life. Not just another table jockey.
