I have twin girls who are 7 years old. Trust me, we've tried a ton of hair ties. These aren't the best. I have a twin with fairly fine hair and one with medium hair. These hair bands break very easily. I have to use 2 pieces at a time to style my hair and even then it breaks down within hours. We definitely can't use them to lift our hair at football practice. She was fine with school days and very light activities. I was very surprised when I saw how much was in my pocket for the price I paid and now I understand why. You get a lot for your money BUT they don't work very well. I would not recommend it.
