I have been shaving with a shaving brush for about 10 years. This should be my third brush. It has less than half the bristles of my other two brushes, making it very difficult to work with. I bought the black model and the photos of the brown ones seem a lot fuller than mine. It also seems to shed bristles quickly, every brush I've had sheds bristles but it happens quickly and again you don't have many bristles to start with. She is artificial. It doesn't bother me that much and I was curious despite other reviews, especially in this price range. However, it doesn't hurt to reflect other reviews in this one. They worked as they should, but without volume it was (again) hard to work with. If the intention is to move the brush, great; but is it really necessary? It doesn't really reduce overall dimensions or weight. I just didn't like this brush.
