Poor fit and not suitable for swimming

I bought these with a waterproof swim iPod. I played around with them for about 4 pool sessions (I tried all different ear tip sizes) and then replaced them with a brand of speedometers. I think they fit if you need them for waterproof music and not for swimming. The problem with them (other than not fitting my ears well) is the redundant cables and the fact that the earcups aren't adjustable. I've tried tucking the extra cord into my goggles or swim cap, but it always ended up falling off and usually caused the earbud to fall halfway out of my ear. Nothing is more annoying than stopping halfway to the pool and covering your ear again. Or small earplugs (made for different ear canal sizes) came loose in the pool. The over-ear part was also a nuisance because it was a bit bulky and just didn't stay close to my ear. I've even tried (unsuccessfully) using a goggle strap to keep it in place. And even worse, as soon as these things fell out of my ears and water got into them, it would distort or muffle the sound. I had to stop and click them somehow to get the audio back to normal. Put simply, it was more of a headache than anything. They might work better on other people's ears, but the length of the cord will still get in the way. Instead, I recommend the waterproof brand Speedo Aqua Beta!
