I bought this for my Dremel 8220. This grip delivers what it promises. Allows you to hold your dremel differently, helps with detail work. The one I received after installation has a gap running between the Dremel body and the handle. This gap causes the handle to flex on the ring and have some springiness. Is it intentional or not? Does it reduce vibration or something? I do not know. I'll probably stop contacting Dremel about this. I feel this item is overpriced after finding out all the issues with it. Especially since I can't use my EZ-Twist cap. One would think that for the price, they could include this feature in this nosepiece as well. It doesn't even have a rubberized finish like the EZ-Twist. I do not recommend it. While it gets the job done, it's poorly designed or poorly tested, and it actually robs the feature of not allowing the EZ-Twist cover to be used. I haven't tried a "QWORK" brand clone, but at least it's cheaper. If you must have this type of grip, I probably gravitate towards this option. Dremel didn't think much about it, and they don't make much money for their efforts.
