Review on 👞 Stylish & Waterproof: Western Chief Printed Handles Boys' Shoes and Boots by Keith Cannon

I try to find as non-toxic shoes as possible for my young children as their bodies are very young and developing. These include rubber boots made of natural rubber. (1 star deducted for not being able to tell if their paints and dyes are lead and heavy metal free or their adhesives are formaldehyde free). Very hard to find. This is the third pair of Western Chief boots we have. All different colors. I know they may not be to some reviewers but the three pairs we had were workhorse boots. My son likes to wear wellies when he is gardening with his father and they have worked on projects and stuck together for years his feet dry and clean. When he was very small, like a size 4, they weren't any heavier, but he walked fine in them, but they're heavier than, say, those big PVC boxes for kids. My children have very wide feet and a thick instep and it is difficult to find shoes for them that fit their feet without being specifically designed for wide and extra wide widths. The western chief seems to be very generous. The wide, thick feet slide easily into the boot and there are some strips on the sides to keep the feet from being sucked into the boot. I bought a size 9 frog and they are great for the height and comfortable in width. You have so many cute designs to choose from. If your child has very narrow feet they might move a little, I don't know. At least try them. I have also purchased Stonz boots and they are good quality too and clearly non-toxic, odorless. But they're about $10/pair more expensive than the Western Chief if you don't close the deal. So, western chief, it is correct now! Also, I can't verify the material composition of the boot, but when I opened the box, the smell of natural rubber came out of the box. I bought another brand of boots, supposedly made of natural rubber, and when I opened the box, there was a very powerful brain cell that got rid of the gasoline smell. Like gasoline? So I'm wondering how natural rubber they were. I returned it.
