Promising but ultimately flawed
I bought this for a person with macular degeneration who cannot see small buttons or text and needs a non-digital landline phone in the event of a power outage. The phone seemed perfect with huge, highly visible buttons. The call was incredibly loud (I think it's made for the hard of hearing too) but you can adjust the volume so it's not deafening. Everything was fine until it stopped working. Just stopped taking calls. We called the phone company, they checked the line and phone and found the problem was with the phone. I don't know how or why - maybe bad wiring? Either way, it was a shame. I returned it and bought something similar.
