It annoys me to hell that my husband uses Aquaphor because it's just petroleum jelly which sucks! Working outside in the winter, the skin on his hands and feet is so dry that the skin cracks. Even I sometimes tear the skin on my thumbs when the house gets very dry in winter. I wanted to try these Babo Botanicals as a natural and healthier replacement for my Aquaphor husband. I find it works just as well, although we have to apply it twice in a row, the first application seems to sink into the second and then forms a good moisture barrier. The ingredients are very pure and I love that they are organic too. the price is also very reasonable. My only complaint is that it is a very thick balm that is difficult to squeeze out of the tube so we had to leave it on the radiator to soften it and make it more comfortable.
