Review on Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless White: Unleash Wireless Audio Brilliance! by Stanisaw Augustynowi ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reliable product for all occasions, quality on par.

These momentums had the most engaging sound of any headphones I sampled before making my purchase. When put side by side with the Sony 1000MX3 and Bose nc700, the difference in sound quality is striking. Whereas with the former, the music seems to play in your head, with the latter, the sound seems to push at you from all sides. The convenience of not having to press anything to turn the headphones on and off (much like the experience with AirPods) is a nice touch, but that's about all I can say in their favor. The software component in its entirety is obviously useless. Even if the headphones were purchased in August 2022 with firmware version 4.0.8, the native application still connects to them intermittently. The ability to connect to two devices at once, or "multipoint," looks advantageous, but it can be disrupted by jamming; in such cases, the headphones may automatically switch between the two connected devices to get the clearest audio. Or, you may watch a video on your laptop, then grab your phone and open it to make a call. laptop video has stopped playing, and I can hear my phone being unlocked. Likewise, with intelligent pausing. Feels good, but has some issues. The headphones automatically begin playing once powered on, however in recent firmware updates, this feature was disabled; previously, users could only halt the music. Simultaneously, the function's significance is diminished; he removed the headphones, and now playback can be initiated only through physical means. Everyone got thrown out for having terrible autonomy, although in reality it only lasts for about three days of moderate use. I remember charging my brand new Marshall MID for the first time a whole month after buying it (with lots of initial momentum). The effectiveness of the active noise cancelling was merely adequate; Bose noise presses perform noticeably better, but the ambient noise level on a flight or train is high enough to warrant their use. I still have a few more months to go with them. If the hassle of the program prevents me from enjoying the music, I'll switch to Sonya.

Pros
  • Powerful and instantaneous sound
Cons
  • Many links, intelligent pause, and limited independence
