This cable feels and looks well made. However, some things are not standard as it does not (fully) work with the Apple Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter aka "Camera Connection Kit" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/). B01F7KJDIM ). I bought this cable to increase the distance between my iPad Pro and things on the other end of the Camera Connection Kit (CCK). As you may know, the CCK isn't very long, and for my application (iPad mounted horizontally on a clamp arm - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BCSYZVY) this means the CCK dangles awkwardly. to the side. This cable should solve this problem, but unfortunately it only partially works. It powers the iPad when connected to the CCK, but the USB branch of the CCK no longer works. I've tried plugging in different ends of Lightning cables both ways (i.e. backwards and backwards) as I saw another review that mentioned that the cable only works in one position. As soon as I unplug that cable and just use the CCK as is, the USB device connected to the CCK wakes up and my iPad sees it again. I can only have the cable used as a charging extension but unfortunately it doesn't work for the purpose I intended.
