My 8 year old son got this bag in black and went camping with it. He said it was a bit too big. He likes it better than the Ozark Trail Larimore Hydropack, but the OT just fits a bit smaller to fit him better. I tried on his black rupumpack and it fit my medium/heavy 5ft 2in PERFECTLY! I liked it so much that I bought it in blue. My 6 foot husband loves it and will use my son's bag. The blue is a little darker than in the picture. The cameras cannot capture the darker shade. It's a much nicer blue than I expected. We all brought lunch, snacks and water socks and 2 full liters of water. Even my 8 year old did well, not heavy or uncomfortable.
