Our new pool has a pebble bottom and my 6 year old had the worst blisters pushing himself out of the pool. They were light enough for him in the water but added an extra layer of cushion. The outsole is flexible and has excellent traction. I used to be nervous that they might slip or get burned while running in the summer, but this takes away all those concerns. My son chose the blue ones with velcro and has been wearing them all month and they still look great.
