I did something to my shoulder in December 2020 and the extra support underneath when sleeping helps a lot. I love the density of this pillow. It does NOT smooth! It's great support for my shoulder and hip stabilization as it's a great knee pillow BUT it takes up a lot of space on my king bed and is as heavy as a corpse. Also, it's too short to use with a curve at the head, so I turn it over and fold it between my legs. (And I'm not a giant. I'm 5'4"). I have to fight to get in and out of bed, which sometimes negates all the good I've achieved while I've been sleeping. I have Bought an aftermarket pillowcase for this as I thought the plush cover that came with it was too hot for me and would stick to my sheets.The cotton cover is ok but made for a larger pillow and also sticks to my sheets.I would like to do that it really if someone makes a u-shape comforter out of satin as that would help a lot when repositioning the pillow, this pillow again.
