I used them after my cataract surgery when my new glasses were delayed by the optician and meanwhile I had to endure a long business trip. I really only needed readers, but I quickly got tired of removing/disabling them. I bought a very cheap pair of frames with "demo" lenses. They stuck perfectly (because the lenses were pretty flat) and I didn't even have to reinstall them. I also had several pairs of sunglasses and they did NOT work for her. So, a few tips from my experience as I order 3 pairs for regular glasses and sunnies: --- As others have said, if your lenses are severely curved, forget it. I couldn't get them to stick --- If you cut them, be careful. It's easy to cut too many of these! Once they were too small, well. --- Cutting with a sharp Exacto blade worked much better for me than scissors. But they slide off when I try to cut on the cutting mat, so I put them on a small piece of thick rubber padding that I had and that stopped them from sliding on the cutting mat.
