For the price you really can't complain. The lamps have worked well for several seasons. They look very nice from the street. I just take out the batteries before storing them for a year. The timer is very easy to set up and always seems to be accurate. The only reason for a 4 star rating and not 5 is that up close you can tell they are cheaply made. The base to the shaft sometimes needs to be adjusted as this is not a permanent connection. Sometimes threading up (battery input) can be stubborn and unwilling to line up. But otherwise I can recommend these candles. They are a great buy for the price!
