I walk a lot and have struggled to find good boots that (1) work and (2) last a long time. I've used boots I bought in stock from the club, they work great but they don't last long. I really love how these boots fit over my shoes, provide great traction and most importantly, HOLD. I've walked 34 miles on the icy trails so far and although they're showing some wear they still have a lot of life in them. I'm sure they will last me for the next couple of months skating and next winter (note I've already changed 2-3 pairs of other boots in less than 2 months). These are by far the best boots I've ever owned. tried so far. Very happy with this purchase!
