Review on Non-Toxic And Nourishing Kids Conditioner: TotLogic'S Original Scented, Paraben And Sulfate Free Formula by Kyle Pickett

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not for me, and seems a bit expensive - but other people seem to like it

I originally noticed that TotLogic had multiple 5-star reviews, all posted within about two days on October 13/14, 2012 - with extremely high praise and very few actual details. The reviews were posted from accounts that had not reviewed other products, but Had posted 5-star reviews for nearly the entire TotLogic product line. So I posted a warning on several products to let people know to take the reviews with a grain of salt considering the odd circumstances. But, I wanted to be fair and actually try one of their products, so I purchased the conditioner rather than the shampoo because I have a RX shampoo from my dermatologist. These would be my quick review points:* When the conditioner first arrived I found that the 'safety seal' glue had been compromised and the bottle was not sealed. I didn't think I received a tainted product so did not bother to return the bottle -- but not a great first impression;* I found that the conditioner requires more product than other comparable products to fully cover my hair;* I didn't notice any special or unique shine or silkiness (I expected something given the substantial cost) after using the product on several occasions;* I still had to comb out some knots as though I hadn't thoroughly conditioned my hair even though I used a substantial amount of product;* I would rate the conditioner average among the many, many 'organic' products I have tried. Not bad, but nothing exceptional;* I've found two other brands I prefer for about 30% less - neither available on amazon though;* I did not try it on a child/toddler so cannot comment in that regard;* On the bright side, I often have issues with flaking after using most conditioners and this product did not cause any problems for me.I still have half a bottle of the conditioner left -- I would use it if I had nothing else on hand, but would not purchase again for the price. Maybe it's just my hair.
