I keep one for each hand as I recently woke up in the middle of the night with tingling fingers. It really helps and I sleep a lot better. The velcro that closes at the top and wrist is wide enough to get the job done and has a properly sized pull tab so it can be removed. It can get warm at night so I'll see how I like it in the summer. I don't remember the washing instructions but it's a jersey and can be hand washed but look for instructions in the ad.
