The buckles are a little sticky
They are a bit sticky and don't slide easily. Not a deterrent to use but a little uncomfortable. They appear to be very strong and I could not unbuckle the buckles with the strength of my hand. We needed metal buckles as we plan to use them for our rescue gear on the water. Let's see how well they stand up to such use.
