We received ours and put it together straight away. I was nervous when I found the splintered part but they were all in excellent condition. The ONE thing we encountered was that we screwed something up and needed to change it. I had to unscrew it to get the part out (only once) but by that point the hole was made and practically cleaned. All that really needed to be done was flip the part and when we fixed it the screw was exactly the same size but it still didn't work. I had to buy wood glue and hope it sticks. Bye. Tip: Do not twist or overtighten; We did it wrong and ended up "smoothing out" the hole. I think it's all our fault that we got it wrong the first time, so it's not their fault.
