These are my first Crocs. I avoided crocodiles because they look like big clown shoes, and I didn't want to look like... you know. I ended up buying a pair because I'm a regular swimmer now and need shoes that can get wet in the pool. I hate flip flops that chafe the sensitive area between my big toe and my second toe. Well I bought Crocs and they are amazing! Very convenient. I have arthritis in my feet and the crocs are surprisingly supportive. I wear them on long trips. They're great at the dog park or in the backyard where I'm likely to step on something that's very difficult to get off my sneakers but is easily removed from my clogs with a hose or cloth. The best thing is that I look cool in it and I know that because the younger generation is impressed. Not 20-year-olds who like to roll their eyes, or my contemporaries who look askance and ask if I already garden, but the style trendsetters of tomorrow. I carried them to the beach and the toddler and four year old patted my boots. Now I want crocodiles of all colors of the rainbow.
