I tried about 3 different docks for my 2020 Intel MBP that were supposed to expand it with triple displays but all I got was just mirrored displays. Still nothing after changing the screen resolution and when I got extended triple displays it was because a docking station connected to HDMI via one of the TB 3 ports and a third monitor connected to another via a TB 3 / USB C cable was, but the whole reason I was looking for a dock was to reduce clutter and have more USB inputs. In most cases, docking stations gave me an extra USB-A port or two. When I got this one, the first one broke as one of the ports just wasn't working, but when I got a quick replacement I was glad I finally had one a small dock that allowed me to expand to three displays (connect Host 1 and Host 2 to the dock and use HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 from the dock to the monitors and each display was in its own section, not mirrored) but also gave me 5 usb-a ports and 1 usb-c port but also allows me to charge my mbp at a full 61w if using a 100w usb-c charging cable.
