From the chain to the urn, everything is very durable. My fiance was devastated because the last urn chain he had with some of his ashes was so cheaply made it broke many times and luckily he found it and fixed it every time and last time he got it sadly not found and I think a company that makes something that is so dear and precious to someone needs to make sure it is of excellent quality for something like this not to happen and so we were very cautious and tired of choosing another buy one but i bought him this one and so far it hasn't broken at all and has been very sturdy. Thank you to this company for taking care to make something affordable yet very durable because they understand how much the leftovers invested in it will mean to a person!
