I like the idea of locking the stabilizer in place and protecting it along with the lens. As someone who has had to send the Mavic in for repairs due to gimbal issues, presumably because I haven't used the clamp while traveling, I can understand that. It's not exactly a 100% match, but pretty close. Where the cover is not connected to the drone, there are small gaps that dirt or sand can get in through. I use a DJI case so I don't worry about it too much. The rubber protection that can be attached to the outside of the lid does not stay in place. The factory cap has a slot where the rubber tread is notched and this helps keep it in place. This case from Revain does not have this slot and the shape of the case is slightly different. It would even be nice to include an appropriate rubber protection or to use the factory protection. At the same time, the new cover is definitely stronger than the factory one. In fact, I put a little pressure on it and found the factory flexed a lot more. Well, I guess I put in enough effort in the wrong place to crack the factory cover π Glad I have a spare!
