I bought these street lights and was impressed. 6 months later one of these fell apart due to the weather, which admittedly was very salty air in Florida. I liked them so much I replaced them again with the same unit, but of the 7 units I bought only 5 still exist as they are not weatherproof as advertised. Store them under a canopy and they will last, but then the batteries won't charge. In one of them, the solar panel got so hot from the sun that it broke. I unplugged the solar charger and put regular batteries in it and it works fine until the batteries wear out. It takes about 5 months to use up a non-rechargeable battery when the solar panel is removed due to wear and tear. However, I like the ones that I use in less aggressive weather conditions.
