I believe guar gum is damaged gut my dog. She wakes me up with terrible smelling gas. The smell is so awful I thought she was going to poop on the bed. When she first wakes up, she doesn't try to eat it. I only feed in the morning. However, she will eat her lunch, which consists of eggs or domestic chicken. My dog is smart enough to know not to eat it and he won't. She's been eating it for 6 months and now she just walks away from it. I can't find any wet food without guar gum either. I hope her stomach heals eventually, but right now I have to cook her food. water to make it look like a sauce.
